so, not only is it raining outside, but our gas has been shut off for 4 days now. though i feel like a slum landlord to my new roommates, i finally got it straightened out today. it's actually quite ridiculous. apparently i couldn't transfer the gas into my name because i owe 64 dollars to them from a year ago for my west hollywood apartment! this girl 4 days ago "wasn't allowed" to tell me the reason it was "under investigation", but thank god some new girl today hooked it up and someone is FINALLY coming tomorrow (anywhere from the hours of 11am to 8pm...ridiculously vague, nothing can be simple, but believe me i will gladly be waiting by the door).
anyhow....my neighbor wasn't home so i couldn't take one at their house, so i just took the ICIEST shower of my life!!! i literally was turning purple and my arms are still defrosting. i could only manage the strength to do one shampoo and a quick wash (hyperventilating the whole way through).
moral of the story: PAY YO BILLS!
